Capresso Espresso Machine

Welcome to our page discussing the capresso espresso machine. Capresso makes different lines of espresso machines from the reasonably priced Capresso 4-Cup Espresso & Cappuccino Machine to the high end Ultima series. The Capresso espresso machine is a high quality espresso maker that consistently get positive feedback from their customers. Below we'll discuss some of the best selling Capresso espresso machines.

Capresso 121.01 Ultima Semi-Automatic Coffee and Espresso/Cappuccino Machine

This Capresso espresso machine makes it easy, without the mess and fuss, to brew espresso or make lattes or cappucinno at home. All you have to do with the semi-automatic machine is to put ground coffee into the receptacle, fill the water tank and pull a lever. The machine automatically tamps the coffee for you. The double spouts can be adjusted for different heights of cups and you can have one or 2 cups of espresso being filled within seconds.

Afterwards there is no messy filter or coffee grounds to deal with, as the machine uses no filter and discards the used coffee into a waste try after use. The waste tray has a warning light to let you know when to empty it.

This espresso machine also features a rotating wand for frothing milk. The coffee receptacle takes 7 to 15 grams of coffee and the pump supplies enough hot water for cups from 1.5 ounces to a large 12 ounces. The 1,200 watt heating coil is powerful enough to heat the water from the 53 ounce tank very quickly.

One customer review raves: "This Espressomaker is unique because of a clever semiautomatic mechanism that doesn't require the usual, messy tampering and cleaning innate to traditional machines. This device comes at a fraction of the cost of the fully automated ones, but is almost as easy to use... The pump is very strong 18bar, I think) and the crema is excellent. Baseline: If you want a traditional machine, go for a Gaggia or something similar; if you are a (lazy) millionaire, consider one of the fully automated machines ($1000-2000). Otherwise, there is currently no alternative to the "Ultima"."

At $298 this Capresso espresso machine is very good value for money considering all the features.

Capresso 303.01 4-Cup Espresso and Cappuccino Machine

This espresso maker features 800 watt power and has a 4 cup capacity, a coffee/steam selector, you can adjust it to your preferred coffee strength and it has a handy swivel frother. Safety features include a safety boiler cup with a built-in valve and the filter holder has a protective thumb guard.

For only $59.99 you get a machine with a sleek design and it features very user friendly controls. All this comes together to provide cafe quality cappucinnos, lattes and espressos.

Let's look at some user comments. "For the money this is an excellent machine for non-commericial use... The Capresso is fast. The espresso is flavorful and hot. The steamer quickly heats the milk to perfection and creates as little or as much froth as you prefer." Another one says "I bought the new Capresso. This new version is great. The foam is easy to manage and the new "foam spout" is a great improvement over the old one. This machine is very easy to maintain...cleanup is a breeze. The "foam spout" completely detaches with a gentle pull...just run water through it and you're ready to push it back on to the machine."
